Classic Designs

one had to compute several descriptive statistics of the obtained sample to use in a formula, together with the mean of the sampled population,

to compute the required t-ratio

and its associated probability

 

Coded Designs

However, the single sample designs can be integrated with the coded designs by entering the repeated values of the population parameter opposite to zero values of the coding (parent) vector X (Designs, Designs of Experiments, Coded Designs, Single Sample) as

and solved (Analysis II, Coded Single Sample Design) in a way

analogous to coded independent measures designs.
