The SPSS ONEWAY procedure produces a one-way analysis of variance. ONEWAY
also allows you to specify contrasts, use multiple comparison tests, and to
test for nonlinear trends.

The independent variable is the daily dose of a new drug with 5 levels: 0mg, 10mg, 20mg, 30mg, and 40 mg. Note that the independent variable is a quantitative variable.
The dependent variable is a measure of these patients' psychological illness after two months of medication.
