The books are not copy protected, can be viewed on the computer screen as well as on most book readers, are freely transferable and can be flexibly organized.

Downloading a book to the library

You may try to download the free copy of Jules Verne's Mysterious Island.

Click + add to cart button, fill-out the pro-forma information, and click the Download Product command. After clicking the Run command commencing the installation of the downloaded program, you can select either the default destination folder,

or folder on your external Library USB drive.

 Shortcuts to the downloaded book will appear on your Desktop and on the (Start, All Programs) menu.

 

Publishing books on the Internet by using our free Book Reader

Our books (with the exception of the Compendium of Visual Statistics) are downloaded in the html format. Files in the web directory, containing the book, as, e.g.,

are copied into the Microsoft Installer which generates a downloadable *.msi file (for the example Obscured Events.msi). Note that the directory contains the Default.htm file and the Reader.exe file. The Microsoft Installer can install a link to the Reader.exe file on the desktop and the book can be read within the Book Reader, as, e.g.,
